Newton Ambulance Crash Injures 3
(WBZ) NEWTON Two paramedics were injured after their ambulance crashed in Newton Tuesday afternoon.
It appears a Jeep, driven by a 21-year-old woman, collided with the ambulance at the intersection of Parker Street and Wheeler Road.
Both paramedics were taken to Beth Israel for treatment of their injuries. The driver of the SUV was taken to St. Elizabeth's in Brighton. All three are said to have non-life threatening injuries.
According to Newton Fire Chief Joe LaCroix, the passenger of the ambulance had to be cut out of the vehicle's cab. The impact of the crash pinned the woman in her seat.
Lt. Bruce Apotheker tells WBZ the ambulance was on its way to a 911 call on Redwood Road when the crash happened.
Officials say the cause of the crash is under investigation.
How ever that crash occurred was very stupid. For one thing, drivers should try to keep their distance from an ambulance in case of an emergency. The article didn't say exactly who caused the crash but either way it should've been avoided. Especially since it's an ambulance, if you drive an ambulance you're supposed to be responsible. But if it wasn't the paramedics fault, then the other person should've been a lot more careful and been a lot more cautious.

Regulatory Sign: helps control and direct traffic, stop signs and speed limit signs
Warning Sign: lets you know about hazards or road conditions ahead, curvey roads ahead or construction sight ahead
Guide Sign: interstate and direction signs, exit signs and tourist sights
